Berzelius Society
The Berzelius Society was founded in December 1990 with the purpose of deepening and spreading knowledge about Jacob Berzelius and his works, as well as to spark interest in and maintain a Berzelian tradition. This is primarily achieved by promoting the publication of writings by and about Berzelius, preserving and caring for Berzelius-related memorabilia, and highlighting his person, life, and work through lectures and excursions. Information about the Society’s activities is communicated via e-mail.
Membership
The Society may, upon application, admit both domestic and foreign citizens as members, as well as organizations. Fees are only charged in connection with the distribution of publications decided by the Society or for specific activities. The board is happy to provide information about literature, lecture requests, previously distributed membership information, and more.
